There are moments when there is no time for analysis. All that remains is instinct.
“Driven by Instinct” portrays a woman hidden behind a racing helmet, yet it is her gaze that becomes the most powerful element of the painting. Focused, confident, and direct, it suggests a readiness to push beyond boundaries. The helmet symbolizes speed, courage, and risk, while the geometric divisions of the face reveal emotions hidden beneath a layer of control.
Intense colors contrast with the black of the helmet, creating tension between discipline and spontaneity, reason and impulse, control and the desire for freedom.
Under UV light, the painting reveals its second nature. The colors gain extraordinary intensity and the portrait begins to pulse with energy, as if speed and adrenaline increase with the changing light.
“Driven by Instinct” is a story about having the courage to trust yourself. About the moment when you stop searching for the right path and simply move forward.
Because sometimes instinct knows where we want to go before we do.
The artist made a work in the technique of acrylic.
